The BS EN 12767:2007 standard has now been replaced by the new BS EN 12767:2019 standard. There are some significant changes to the specification, explained in detail on our Standard Products page.
Yes, we can arrange delivery of your columns. Please advise in your initial enquiry if you require this option or would prefer to collect from our facility.
The lead time for deliveries varies considerably depending on your requirements, but we will do our best to have your columns delivered as soon as possible.
As a rough guide to UK deliveries; Bespoke Products can be delivered in 6-8 weeks, dependent on the complexity of the project. Standard Products are available for next day collection when the requested column is in stock, dependent on stock levels, and are otherwise delivered in 14 days where stock levels allow
Our quotations are valid for 30 days. Please contact us if you need a revalidation as this can be completed quickly.
Standard quotations, i.e. 5m – 8m post top columns, can be undertaken on the Sales desk and can take just a couple of hours.
Non-standard quotations must pass through our Technical Department to check suitability. These can take up to 3 days for columns we have drawings for, and up to 7 days where new drawings are required.
An email will be sent to you to advise the latest date you will receive your quotation. We pull out all the stops to ensure that your quotation is turned around in the quickest time possible.
Please email sales@alulight.co.uk and advise the following:
- Height and type of lighting column required.
- Quantity.
- Lantern (and/or any other attachments) to be installed.
- Scheme Location (for windage and altitude values).
If you do have any other information, perhaps a scheme name (in case a quote has already been provided for the same scheme) or any documentation (e.g. Bill of Quantities, specification & scheme documents), this would expedite the process.
We have a very experienced and talented Design and Technical team who can review your requirements. They will work with you in designing and checking suitability of a new, bespoke column. Please refer to our Bespoke Products Page.
Unfortunately, we supply only the lighting columns. Anything else will need to be sourced elsewhere.

Yes, we do. Whilst we always advise a natural brushed finish, we have a dedicated spray booth and experienced sprayers to ensure you get a first-class finish on your columns. Please refer to our Bespoke Products Page.

Yes, upon request we can supply most model/drawing files e.g. STEP, igs, dwg, pdf and the like.
We can advise on planted foundations in line with PD 6547 regarding ground type. It is the installers responsibility to use this information in conjunction with the on-site ground conditions. We can also provide guidance on pad calculations for base-plated columns.
